Masters Touch Catering

About

Thirty years. One kitchen. Thousands of gatherings.

Lisa Garvie has loved to cook since she was a small child in her grandmother’s kitchen — rolling bits of cookie dough between her tiny fingers until the temptation became too much and she would pop them into her mouth.

Inspired by Martha Stewart and supported by her husband Mike, Lisa took on the challenge of starting her own catering company. In 1995, she opened Masters Touch Catering, where she would spend the next three decades honing her craft and serving thousands of wedding, corporate, film industry, and celebrity clients.

In 2020, her son Harrison joined her full-time as a partner in the kitchen. Together, Lisa and Harrison continue to design custom menus and cater memorable events across Vancouver Island.

Family in the kitchen

Run by Lisa. Cooked by family.

Lisa runs Masters Touch with her son Harrison and a wider crew she's built over thirty years. All three of her sons grew up working events — two still cook with the team today.

How we work

Cooked from scratch. Served with care.

How we cook

Every menu starts with a conversation about the event and the people. Recipes are built from scratch, ingredients are sourced with care, and nothing leaves the kitchen until it tastes the way it should.

How we serve

Plated dinners, family-style spreads, drop-off platters, grazing tables, on-set craft service — the format follows the event. We’ll help you choose the right shape for the room.
